To avoid precipitation of condensate from the heating gases of a low-temperature boiler, flow water is to be admixed after a certain period of time to the return in the event of the return temperature falling below a predetermined level. The period of time is dependent upon the outside temperature. The triggering return temperature is raised above the dew point.
