PURPOSE:To obtain an economical trolley voltage controller by mounting a reactor and a capacitor and a filter consisting of a reactor and a diode on the DC side of a diode bridge and connecting one of the capacitor and the diode to a pole on the power unit side of a DC circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a power unit 5 is brought to the state of the storage of DC power, the value of DC voltage applied to the power unit 5 is controlled by controlling the ON time and OFF time of a device 6 for a chopper, and the value of currents I2 is controlled. Currents I1 flowing through a DC circuit 2 are smoothed by a reactor 15 and a capacitor 11 to ON-OFF control of the chopper device 6, and currents I2 flowing through the power unit 5 are smoothed by a diode 14 and a reactor 17. When the power unit 5 is brought to the discharge of DC power, currents flowing through the DC circuit 2 from the power unit 5 are also controlled similarly. |
