APPARATUS FOR PRODUCTION OF CITY GAS

PURPOSE:To enable the application of an apparatus to all the city gas production processes, by combining the step of adjusting the quantity of heat and the step of dehydration in a city gas production process into a one-stage small system through the utilization of latent heat of vaporization of a liquefied petroleum gas for carburation. CONSTITUTION:A city gas production apparatus comprises a heat exchanger 3 adapted for indirectly heat exchanging a produced gas 2 with a cooled city gas 10; a venturishaped liq.-gas mixer 6 provided on the downstream side of a produced gas 4 and adapted for directly contacting the produced gas 4 having a temperature regulated in a heat exchanger 3 with a liq. liquefied petroleum gas 5 to vaporize and mix them and, at the same time, condense moisture contained in the produced gas 4; a separator 8 provided on the downstream side of the liq.-gas mixer 6 and adapted for separating the condensed moisture from the gas; and means adapted for feeding part 10 of the city gas discharged from the outlet of the separator 8 into the heat exchanger 3.
