摘要 PURPOSE:To carry out stable speed change control with high response even if engine torque varies during speed change by regulating pressure supply for a frictional engaging element corresponding to transmission torque level of a driving force transmission device during speed change and controlling torque capacity. CONSTITUTION:A transmission control unit 16 takes in rotation Ne of an engine 10 from sensors 14, 15, 17-19, rotation Nt of a turbine from a torque converter 20, rotation No of a transfer drive gear, throttle opening thetat, oil temperature, etc., and detects transmission torque level of the torque converter 20. When speed is changed through a transmission gear 30, a hydraulic circuit 40 is controlled corresponding to the transmission torque level so as to regulate hydraulic pressure to be fed to a frictional speed change engaging element in a transmission 30 thus controlling torque capacity thereof. Consequently, speed change control can be made stably with high response even if engine torque is varied through acceleration work during speed change.
