PURPOSE:To prepare a plurality of colors of powdery dyes by automatically weighing with high accuracy, by automatically performing the location of weighing containers and the feeding of powdery dyes in sequence by an operation controller according to the recipes of the powdery dyes. CONSTITUTION:First, powdery dye preparation conditions based on the color matching based on a shade pattern are input to a computer 301. A motor 208 is energized by a signal from a controller 304 to move a running carriage 202, which is moved by functioning location sensor 202-1 and stopped at a place where a weighing vessel 204 is located just below a powdery dye outlet 114-1 by functioning the location sensor 209-1. A screw is engaged with a bevel gear 124-1 by actuating a magnetic clutch 125-1 by a signal from the controller 304. The speed of the motor 121 is controlled so that the amount of the dye transported is large when the difference of the weighed value from the predetermined weight value is great, and the amount of transportation is small when this difference is small.
