PRODUCTION OF TRANSPARENT PERFUMED PLASTIC ARTICLE

PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent plastic article which can emit a steady perfume for a long time period, by mixing a clathrate compound of a perfume with maltosylcyclodextrin with a plastic material and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A clathrate compound of a perfume with maltosylcyclodextrin is mixed with a plastic material, and the resulting mixture is molded. Said plastic material may be a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin. An example of a process for forming said clathrate compound comprises dissolving maltosylcyclodextrin in water or an organic solvent, adding a given amount of a perfume to this solution and homogenizing or fully kneading the mixture.
