PURPOSE:To obtain the title sizing agent capable of obtaining a GFRP molded product almost without being gigged in winding and having excellent boiling resistance by forming the agent from the emulsion of a copolymer wherein a glycidyl (meth)acrylate component and a vinyl acetate component are mixed in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:The sizing agent is formed from the emulsion of a glycidyl (meth)acrylate-vinyl acetate copolymer wherein the weight ratio of the glycidyl (meth)acrylate component to the vinyl acetate component is controlled to 3/97-30/70. When the weight ratio of the glycidyl (meth)acrylate component to the vinyl acetate component is controlled to <3/97 in the sizing agent, the hardness of the copolymer film is decreased, the sizing property of glass fiber as a sizing effect is deteriorated, and the gigging amt. is increased. In addition, the adhesion between the copolymer film and glass is deteriorated, and the boiling resistance of the GFRP molded product is deteriorated. Meanwhile, when the ratio exceeds 30/70, copolymerization is difficult to perform.
