PURPOSE:To compensate an air-fuel ratio quickly in a simple structure as well as to check any variation in the air-fuel ratio with certainty by installing a suction pipe length variable mechanism and a ventilation resistance regulating device making ventilation resistance in a suction passage variable as interlocked with the former. CONSTITUTION:When engine speed of an internal combustion engine 1 goes down up to the setting value, by way of example, a servomotor 12 is rotated in a B direction by a control unit 14. If so, a wire 13b is pulled toward a D direction, and a rotary drum 8, a turning shaft 9 and a connecting member 10 are all rotated in an F direction, so that a slide valve 5 is moved to the left and stuck close to a fixed suction pipe 4. In consequence, since suction pipe length is altered to a longer state, volumetric efficiency of suction air is improved owing to both pulsation and inertial effects. At this time, since a wire 20 comes loose and it is made shiftable to an H direction, a shutter 18 is put back by a spring 19 whereby it comes into a state of being throttled. Consequently, rising negative pressure acts on a main nozzle 25, coping with the pulsation of a venturi part 22. |
