PURPOSE:To make it possible to take the driving posture instantly by making a steering wheel moved to a preset driving position automatically when it is detected either the engine is operated or the seat belt is fixed. CONSTITUTION:A rod 21 is furnished at a tilt driving member 20 swayable up and down, and extended or contracted freely, and the tip of the rod 21 is installed through a pin 23 swayable up and down to an arm 22 which is incorporated to an upper bracket 13. The tilt driving member 20 furnishes a motor 24, by the rotation of which the rod 21 is extended and contracted through a worm mechanism, a feed screw mechanism, and the like. When it is detected either the seat belt is fixed or the engine is operated, the tilt driving device 20 is driven by the signal from a computer, and a steering wheel is moved to the position suitable to drive the car. |
