<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ultraviolet-curable ink composition excellent in hardness, etchant resistance, etc., of a cured paint film and suitable for resists, etc., by mixing (meth)acrylamide with a specified monoesterified photopolymerizable compound and a photosensitizer. CONSTITUTION:An acid anhydride (A) of the formula (wherein R is H or a 4 C or lower alkyl), e.g., hexahydrophthalic anhydride, is reacted with a compound (B) having at least one hydroxyl group and at least one (meth)acryloyl group in the molecule (e.g., 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) to produce a monoesterified photopolymerizable compound. This photopolymerizable compound, (meth) acrylamide and a photosensitizer (e.g., benzoin methyl ether) as essential components are mixed together to obtain the purpose ultraviolet-curable ink composition. This composition can be suitably used as, e.g., a resist ink in the processing of printed wiring boards.</p> |
