发明名称 PRODUCTION OF POLYMER COMPOSITE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform polymer composite in which 7,7,8,8,-tetracyano quinodimethane is dispersed in the form of molecules, by heating a polymer film with 7,7,8.8-tetracyanoquinodimethane in a sealed vessel. CONSTITUTION:A polymer film is heated with 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) powder in a sealed vessel at a temperature lower than the m.p. of the polymer to obtain the purpose polymer composite. The polymer composite thus obtained are classified into two types, i.e., one in which TCNQ is dispersed simply in the form of molecules in the polymer and one in which there is some interaction between TCNQ and the polymer. In the latter type new functions such as improvement of electric conductivity, generation of photoconductivity, increase in mobility of a carrier and generation of fluorescence are realized. By using this polymer composite, it is easy to produce optical recording media, thin-film phosphors and optoelectronic devices such as thin-film laser and photoconductors.
