A fast moving door with a winding shaft mounted in the upper end zone of side sections (1, 2) which can be driven by a geared and braking motor and whereon the flexible door leaf (7) provided with a lower stiffening end section (6) can be wound up, with a switching device provided in the lower edge zone of the end section which, on being actuated, causes the brake to engage, and with an end switch causing the brake to engage when the end section has reached the floor/ground zone, characterized in that the switching device consists of a light barrier whose transmitter and receiver elements (12, 13) are arranged on both sides of the end section (6) at a distance (x) below the latter, corresponding to the braking distance.</p> |
