PURPOSE:To obtain an emulsion having moisture proofing property and low odor by consisting the same of 60-100pts.wt. solid paraffin wax having 40-70 deg.C melting point, 50-150 deg.C softening point, 75-130pts.wt. hydrogenated petroleum resin having 0-50 residual acid value and 3-12pts.wt. the product formed by saponifying a fatty acid by an alkali metallic hydroxide. CONSTITUTION:60-100pts.wt. paraffin wax having 40-70 deg.C m.p., 75-130pts. ester consisting of a hydrogenated petroleum resin having 50-150 deg.C softening point and 0-50 residual acid value, rosin, modified rosin or ester consisting of modified rosin and polyhydric alcohol and 3-12pts. the product formed by saponifying a fatty acid or dimer acid having 10-20 carbon atom by a hydroxide of an alkali metal or the like are stirred and mixed under heating to a uniform mixture. The hot water kept at >=90 deg.C is then added to the mixture and the mixture is roughly emulsified. The rough emulsion is made into an emulsion by a high pressure emulsifier. |
