PURPOSE:To effectively generate oil pressure proportionate to a gear ratio by providing an elastic displacing means on an oil pressure control valve and interlocking its elastic displacement to each movable pulley of driving and driven side pulleys to obtain a controlling oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:As a gear ratio which is interlocked with the position of each movable pulley of driving side and driven side pulleys is inputted from a shift arm 78b and a rod 58, a torque from a turbine 10 is inputted into an oil pressure control valve via a disk spring 94, a rod 59, and a torque detecting lever 51, by means of a gear ratio detecting lever 50. Each of the inputs makes a spool 56 correspond to the position of each detecting lever 50, 51 by means of a push rod 52 and a sleeve 53 via a compression coil spring 54 corresponding to gear ratio and a spring 55 corresponding to torque, to generate oil pressure proportionate to the gear ratio. Thereby, an oil pressure necessary for a V-belt transmission and proportionate to a gear ratio can be effectively obtained.
