A closure (12) for removably sealing a port (14) is provided. The closure (12) includes a guide member (20) receivable within an opening of a port (14) and a sleeve member (22) extending for a length of the guide member (20) and defining with the guide member (20) an annular channel (30), at least a portion of the port (14) being received within the annular channel (30) when the closure (12) seals the port (14), the inner circumference of the sleeve member (22) being sufficiently small to exert a retaining force around the portion of the port (14) so received securing the closure (12) onto the port (14). The closure (12) includes a handle member (24) having a reduced thickness portion (33), upon the application of a pulling force on the handle member (24) the reduced thickness portion (33) will stretch before the retaining force exerted by the closure (12) on the port (14) is overcome.
