PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance the coupling strength by using balls to couple a bearing and a diaphragm spring. CONSTITUTION:Balls 41 are fitted in ball mounting holes 40, and are projected from the holes 40 and abuts against the outer peripheral surface of a sleeve 22 and the inner peripheral surface section 45 of a ball stopper 21. Upon clutch disengagement a bearing 20 is moved outward in the axial direction. Thereby the balls 41 are moved in the same direction together with the inner race 23 so that the sleeve 22 is also driven in the same direction by means of the balls 41 and a projection 42. Accordingly, the bearing 20 and the diaphragm spring 7 are coupled together with the balls 41, thereby it is possible to enhance the coupling strength.
