PURPOSE:To prevent a road from being damaged and a dust pollution, by connecting a connection fixture to a controlled part to be connected penetrating through the inside of a tire to a spike so as to move it protruding and retracting, in case of the snow tire with the spike for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:If a cylinder 15 in an actuator unit 12 is operated in a direction of protruding a spike 2, a movable cam 13 presses a roller 10 to protrude the spike 2 from a tire surface. If the spike 2 protrudes, a tire, hooking a stopper 16 to a ratchet stopper 11, maintains the spike 2 to be placed in its protruding condition. When the spike 2 is retracted, the tire, if it releases the ratchet stopper 11 by actuating a ratchet stopper release pusher 14 through an actuator cylinder 17, retracts the spike 2 by retracting a flexible connecting rod 9 through tension of a spring 7. By this constitution, damage of a road and generation of a dust can be prevented by enabling the spike to be protruded only when it is necessary.
