PURPOSE:To eliminate necessity to mix lubricating oil in fuel as well as to improve the extent of output efficiency by installing two sets of power cylinder piston devices operating with different phases and a scavenging pumping plant rotating two times per rotation of these piston devices. CONSTITUTION:A two-cycle internal combustion engine consists of two sets of power cylinder piston devices 10 and 11, a scavenging pumping plant 12 to be driven by these piston devices 10 and 11, an intake valve 13 and a carburetor 14 to be successively connected to this scavenging pumping plant 12 and a transmission mechanism for these elements. At this time, these piston devices 10 and 11 are provided with a scavenging port on one side and an exhaust port on the other, while respective pistons being opposed are installed in each inner part of both these ports, operating them with the phases different as far as 180 deg. with each other. The, crank phase between the scavenging pumping plant 12 and these piston devices 10 and 11 is set at the scavenging pumping plant 12 so as to make pressurization necessary to keep off any flowback of combustion gas and the scavenging of fresh air securable.
