<p>PURPOSE:To design rationalization of processes by performing assembly processes of lower part of a vehicle such as interior unit assembly process, floor assembly process, etc., on the downstairs while performing assembly processes of upper part of the vehicle such as vehicle front part assembly proc ess, door assembly process, etc., on the upstairs. CONSTITUTION:On the upstairs floor of an automobile assembly plant are ar ranged an interior unit assembly line 1, a vehicle front part assembly line 5, a door assembly line 6, and a main shell part assembly line 7 independent of each other while on the downstairs or on the first floor are arranged a floor assembly line 2, a front suspension assembly line 3 and a rear suspension assem bly line 4 independent of each other. As a result, processes constituting the upper vehicle part are performed upstairs while processes constituting the lower vehicle part are performed downstairs and the upper and lower vehicle parts are joined to be assembled into an automobile. As a result, automatic assembly as a whole is facilitated and entire arrangement is rationalized.</p> |
