PURPOSE:To prevent an ink in a groove and the ink in other groove from interfering with each other, prevent the ink from leaking and contrive high reliability, high accuracy and a lower cost, by laminating a substrate provided with etched minute grooves and an upper plate provided with a pattern by printing or the like with each other, and joining the two member to each other in an integral construction by spot welding to constitute nozzles. CONSTITUTION:Nozzle-forming minute grooves 7 each of which consists of a nozzle part 4, a pipeline part 5 and a constriction part 6 and an ink tank part 8 are provided on one side of a substrate 1 by etching. Thin-film positioning patterns 9 having the same shape and size as those of the grooves 7 and the tank part 8 can be provided on one side of an upper plate 2 by silk screen printing or the like. The side of the upper plate 2 not provided with the patterns 9 is laid on the side of the substrate 1 provided with the grooves 7, then relative positions are adjusted so that the patterns 9 are disposed directly above the grooves 7, thereafter the substrate 1 and the upper plate 2 are jointed to each other by spot welding, and piezoelectric elements 3 are adhered respectively to the patterns 9. By this, minute grooves with high accuracy can be realized, and an extremely fine pitch can be realized, so that a minuter ink jet pitch and a smaller jet head can be obtained. |
