PURPOSE:To obtain the title membranous structural material excellent in electromagnetic shielding property, electric wave absorptivity, surface heat buildup property, lightning protecting effect and bonding strength, by impregnating an electroconductive fibrous woven or knitted fabric optionally laminated with a glass fiber woven fabric with a thermoplastic resin and binding them together by melting. CONSTITUTION:An electroconductive fibrous woven or knitted fabric (A) optionally laminated with a glass fiber woven fabric (e.g., plain weave fabric of a stainless steel fiber) is impregnated with a thermoplastic resin (B) (e.g., tetrafluoroethylene polymer), and they are bound together by heating to 300-380 deg.C for 3-10min and, optionally, this melt-bonded body is further laminated with a thermoplastic resin film (e.g., tetrafluoroethylene film), and the laminate is rebound by melting at 350-380 deg.C for 4-8min under a pressure of 2-20kg/cm<2>. |
