Granular detergent compsn. prodn. with low phosphate content

Prepn. of granular detergent compsns. with low phosphate content and high nonionic surfactant content comprises:-(1) forming a hot aq. suspension of the thermostable components; (2) drying the suspension in a spray tower, (3) mixing the atomised base with Na tripolyphosphate and heat sensitive components and (4) agglomerating the solid components by spraying with the aid of a nonionic surfactant until formation of homo-generous granules having low tendency to agglutinate. - A compsn. obtd. as above and comprising (1) 1-12 (wt.%) anionic surfactants; (b) 2-10% nonionic surfactants; (c) 15-60% structural salts; (d) 5-20% alkali salts (e) 10-25% Na tripolyphosphate (I) (f) 1-30% bleaching peroxides and (g) 0-2% Na orthophosphate and Na pyrophosphate.
