PURPOSE:To previously prevent an accident from occurring by providing an air speedometer on a bridge where automobiles can pass, arranging a traveling speed detector between an indicator for limit-speed indication and a display device, and providing the display device which makes a specific indication when there is a strong wind. CONSTITUTION:A signal 5 provided at a distance l1 from the base part 6 of the bridge 2 in the arrival directions of vehicles illuminates in blue at all times unless there is a strong wind, and the indicators 7 and 8 indicate the maximum speed (e.g. 50km/h) of the road. Then when the strong wind blows and its speed measured by the air speedometer 3 exceeds a prescribed value, a controller 4 outputs a control signal 10 to let the display device 20 makes a specific display, switches the signal 5 to red, and also controls the indicators 7 and 8 according to the output of a speed detector S. Namely, the speed indication of the indicator 7 is set to, for example, 10km/h and the speed indication of the indicator 8 is set to, for example, 30km/h. Then the indications of all the indicators and the display of the display device 20 are blinked to force vehicles which travel toward the bridge to slow down stepwise and stop in front of the bridge, thereby previously preventing an accident from occurring.
