PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive printed matter for transfer through reducing the number of production steps, by providing a transparent overcoat layer, an ink layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer on one side of a base film. CONSTITUTION:A transparent overcoat layer in the same shape as that of a seal pattern is provided by a printing means on one side of a transparent or translucent base film, then a monocolor or multicolor ink layer is provided on the overcoat layer by a printing means, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided on the entire surface of the ink layer. The thickness of the base film 1 is 25-200 mum, the thickness of the overcoat layer 2 is 5-8 mum, the thickness of the ink layer 3a, 3b is 5-10 mum, and the thickness of the adhesive layer 4 is 5-10 mum. The overcoat layer is capable of being extended and contracted according to the temperature of an object of transferring, after being finished in a film form. The finished article is positioned while lightly pressing the article against a windowpane, and a pattern is pressed against the windowpane while manually exerting a lateral force through pressing by a palm, thereby transferring the pattern onto the windowpane.
