<p>A reducing valve comprising a vapor-liquid separator, and provided with a sump chamber below the valve orifice by extending downwardly the portion of the reducing valve casing surrounding the valve orifice, an annular partition at the upper part of the sump chamber to form an annular space between the partition wall and valve casing outside, the annular space communicating with the inlet at the top and with the sump chamber at the bottom and the central passage of the annular partition communicating the sump chamber with the space below the valve orifice, a rotation deflector arranged in the annular space, and a drain valve to discharge water accumulated in the sump chamber.</p> |
