PURPOSE:To obtain a coating composition of a one-component curing type which can give a paint film which need not be baked at high temperatures, is good in adhesion to an inorganic substrates and is excellent in weather resistance and heat resistance, by mixing a specified fluorine-containing copolymer with a specified polyfunctional organosilicon compound. CONSTITUTION:A coating composition containing a solvent-soluble fluorine- containing copolymer having a content of fluorine originated in fluoroolefin units, >=10wt.% and having a curable moiety (e.g., a solvent-solution fluorine- containing copolymer containing a fluoroolefin and a vinyl ether as comonomers and having an intrinsic viscosity as measured in tetrahydrofuran at 30 deg.C, of 0.05-2dl/g and a polyfunctional organosilicon compound containing Si-bonded NCO groups (e.g., methylsilyl triisocyanate). This composition is one-component curing type, need not be baked at high temperatures, is easy in painting work and can impart excellent adhesion and excellent weathering resistance to inorganic substrates such as glass or metal without primer treatment.
