PURPOSE:To prevent sunken parts from developing on the surface of a cured molded product at the show-side surface by a method wherein an organic liquid Lewis base compound is applied on the core side surface in a mold in order to obtain a polymer molded product. CONSTITUTION:The reaction injection molding concerned is to apply an organic liquid Lewis base compound on the core side surface in a mold, when a cured polymer molded product is obtained by reaction injection molding by casting metathetically polymerizable monomer in a mold in the presence of metathetically polymerizing catalyst system. As a result, even when the difference is small between the temperature of the core side surface and that of a show-side surface, almost no generation of sunken parts is observed on the surface of the cured polymer molded product on its show-side surface. Namely, the prevention of the generation of sunken parts is realized by applying an organic liquid Lewis base compound as polymerization retarder. |
