PURPOSE:To improve durability and hardness characteristics by coating composition in which a vinyl-base polymer contg. basic nitrogen atom is blended with a compd. having epoxy group and hydrolytic silyl group in one molecule on a hot galvanized steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:Ordinary-temp. curable resin composition is prepared by blending a vinyl-base polymer A contg. basic nitrogen atom with a compd. B having epoxy group and hydrolytic silyl group in one molecule as an essential component and if necessary, incorporating a compd. contg. silanol group and/or a compd. contg. hydrolytic silyl group excepting the above-mentioned compd. B and a catalyst for hydrolyzing and condensing the hydrolytic silyl group thereto. This ordinary-temp. curable resin composition is coated on a hot galvanized steel sheet at about 20-80mum thickness. Thereby a film excellent in adhesion, luster maintenance and hardness, etc., can be formed.
