PURPOSE:To shorten the warming-up time of an oxygen sensor, by forming a heating element on one surface of a sealing plate, and making heat transfer to a solid-state electrolytic plate quick. CONSTITUTION:Electrode films 2 are formed on both surfaces of a solid-state electrolytic plate having oxygen-ion conducting property. A spiral spacer 5, which surrounds the electrode films 2 and has an interval between the starting end and the terminating end, is arranged on one surface of the electrolytic plate 1. A sealing plate 6, on which a heating element 8 is formed, is arranged. A diffusing hole 7 is formed with a spiral space, which is surrounded with the facing partitioning walls of the spacer 5, the electrolytic plate 1 and the sealing plate 6. Oxygen diffuses and intrudes into the electrode films 2 through said space. The heating element 8 consists of a printed film made of at least one kind of platinum, tungsten and molybdenum. Thus heat transfer to the electrolytic plate 1 becomes fast, and the warming-up time of an oxygen sensor is shortened. |
