PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body freed of deterioration of electric characteristics, such as sensitivity, by forming 2 interlayers between a photoconductive layer and a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive layer 4, the first interlayer 3 containing a metal alcoholate, the second interlayer 2 containing an organometallic complex, and the conductive substrate 5. A first interlayer 3 has a function for enhancing sensitivity of a photosensitive body and a second interlayer 2 has a function as an electric charge retaining layer and moreover it improves the surface property of the first interlayer 3 and image quality, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be enhanced in sensitivity and durability and improved in halftone reproducibility. |
