Bottle cap with clamping ring

The bottle cap is locked in position by a clamp ring resting on its bottom edge at the level of an internal ridge, which engages under a peripheral bead on the bottle neck. It comprises a rubber sealing stopper (14) for the bottle mouth and which can be drilled through. It is of spring material with a central opening through which the stopper can be drilled. Slots (25) extending from its bottom edge form spring wall sections (26) with an internal ridge (23) interrupted by the slots, pressed into engagement behind the bead when the cap is fitted.
