IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a desired image at a high speed by complementing the contour of a picture element subjected to the coordinate transformation so that it can be painted out. CONSTITUTION:Contour data on an image and a command of transformation are inputted via an input device 202 and stored once in a RAM 204. A CPU 201 receives the command of transformation and calls the contour data out of the RAM 204 to perform the coordinate transformation and the complementation of the contour picture elements based on a 3-dimensional affine transformation program and a complementing program stored in a ROM 205. The image data obtained from said transformation and complementation is evolved to an image bit map memory 206. A picture element coordinate value subjected to complementing processing is painted out for each raster by a paint-out control circuit 207 and sent to an output device 208 via an interface 203 for output.
