PURPOSE:To easily insert and delete in a data string by displaying the sequence of the data string written in a data area by chain data. CONSTITUTION:In addresses aaa-eee, respectively, one data string can be stored and a pointer indicating the address in which the succeeding data string is stored and the pointer indicating the address of the pointer in which the preceding data string is stored are stored. The number of all the areas, the number of effective areas in which the data is currently stored and the pointer in which a first data is stored are stored in another area. The sequence of the storage is understood by following the address as the chain information by the pointer. Accordingly, since the physical storage sequence may not coincide with the logical storage sequence, the data can be easily inserted and deleted.
