PURPOSE:To prevent the prior locking of rear wheels and ensure the safety at the time of braking by detecting the increase/decrease in the ground contacting reaction forces of right and left rear wheels based on the lateral acceleration during making a turn and variably controlling a defined value which lowers the increasing ratio of braking hydraulic pressure in accordance with the detected value. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic pressure control valve device 7 is provided midway in the pipings to rear wheel side brake devices 6a, 5a of cross pipings A, B which extend from two pressure chambers of a master cylinder 2, and controls braking hydraulic pressures which are independently fed for each piping system to the rear wheel side braking devices. And, an energizing means which varies an energizing force for energizing and holding the valve device of the device 7 in an open position by means of an electromagnetic force is provided in the device 7. Also, a lateral load moving quantity is operated by a control circuit 10 based on the lateral acceleration which is operated by the outputs of a vehicle speed sensor 8 and a steering angle sensor 9, while the ground contacting reaction forces of the right and left rear wheels are obtained from the load moving quantity and, in accordance with the increase/decrease in the ground contacting reaction forces, the energizing force of the energizing means is variably controlled.
