PURPOSE:To easily select a satellite and to prevent a mis-operation from being generated, by selecting one specific satellite in a displayed group by the movement of a cursor by performing the operations of an up key and a down key. CONSTITUTION:A TV video signal and a display signal from a character generator 1 are switched or mixed at an RGB encoder 2, and is outputted as an ON screen video signal, and is displayed on a CRT3. A specific character is read out from the character generator 1 by the control of a CPU5 which reads the operating content of an operation key group 4, and it is outputted to the RGB encoder 2. At this time, an UP key 4a and a DOWN key 4b are provided in the operation key group 4 in addition to general keys, and a prescribed satellite can be selected from a prescribed group by the operations of those keys. In such a way, a selection operation can be performed easily, and also, the mis- operation can be prevented from being generated.
