PURPOSE:To attain a highly accurate pedometer by separating a detecting signal according to a living operation from a detecting signal according to an original walking. CONSTITUTION:In the signal of a walking sensor 21, one walk is shaped to one pulse by a dead zone processing circuit 22. This signal enters an operation decision circuit 24 through switches SW3, SW1. The operation decision circuit 24 transmits an addition pulse to an arithmetic circuit 29 and starts a timer 25 to decide whether a next pulse comes or not within a time t1. When the next pulse comes three times successively within the time t1, the switch SW1 is switched to a completion decision circuit 26. When it does not, an operation rejection signal is applied to the arithmetic circuit 29 through a display circuit 30 to subtract the added pulse. The completion decision circuit 26 feeds the addition pulse to the arithmetic circuit 29 for every receiving of the pulse, starts a timer 27 every time, and when the next pulse does not come within a t2 time, decides to be the completion of the walking and returns the circuit to an initial state.
