PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a system as a whole, by providing an interface means to connect other facsimiles to a facsimile main body directly, and connecting plural facsimiles so as to be used as the system via the interface means. CONSTITUTION:The facsimile main bodies A and B with memories are equipped with reading parts 1, recording parts 2, and communication parts 4 to be connected to a line 3, storage parts 5, and system control parts 6 to control the whole of the systems, and also, interface parts 7 as the interface means, and those parts 1-7 are connected to each other with a data bus 9 and a bus control signal line 10. Since the facsimile main bodies A and B are interfaced by the data bus 9 and the bus control signal line 10 via the interface parts 7, 7, respectively, both facsimile main bodies A and B can be used as one system. In such a way, it is possible to suppress the cost of the system inexpensively.
