PURPOSE:To omit the clock signal oscillation circuit of a CPU in a slave station, by providing the clock signal oscillation circuit of the CPU in the slave station at the outside of the CPU, and performing the ON/OFF control of the clock signal oscillation circuit by the CPU. CONSTITUTION:When a peripheral control circuit 5A receives an external call signal 1, the clock signal oscillation circuit CG1 arranged in the peripheral control circuit 5A starts the oscillation of a clock signal. The operation status of the start of the oscillation is transmitted to the CPU6 by a CPU start up signal 7, and the CPU6 starts an operation by inputting the clock signal K1 oscillated at the clock signal oscillation circuit CG1. The CPU6, when a processing being started, changes a clock oscillation control signal 3 to be supplied to the peripheral control circuit 5A from an (L) to an (H) immediately after starting up the CPU6 as preparation for the stoppage of the oscillation control circuit CG1 at the time of completing the processing. In such a way, the clock signal oscillation circuit can be unified, and the slave station can be constituted inexpensively.
