PURPOSE:To inform the presence of an incoming call to a recipient personnel during its absence by providing a function detecting a specific signal, a function storing and displaying information and a function driving a display function drive circuit to a telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a caller of a telephone set A recognizes the absence of a called party of a telephone set B, a voice store and forward service system 7 is called through a telephone exchange 6 to register a telephone number of the telephone set B and to store the content of speech in voice. The system 7 uses a voice storage control section 8 to store the destination telephone number from the telephone set A and the notice information in voice into a voice storage section 9 and to send a specific signal to the telephone set B. The telephone set B is connected to the exchange 6 through lines L1, L2 and the specific signal sent from the control section 8 is detected by a signal reception circuit 3 to store the signal incoming state. The signal incoming storage state is displayed on a display device by a display device drive circuit 4 and the storage of the information with respect to the called party of the telephone set B is informed to the system 7.
