PURPOSE:To accurately perform focusing, by deciding a position where a focusing voltage is inverted from a rise to a fall as a just focused position. CONSTITUTION:In a case where a reference voltage SEn detected according to the movement of a focusing member rises for several number of times successively, it is decided that the focusing member approaches the just focused position P, and also, in the case where the reference voltage SEn falls for several number of times successively, it is decided that the focusing member is separated from the just focused position P, and the position where the focusing voltage En is inverted from the rise to the fall is decided as the just focused position P. Therefore, it is possible to judge that a ridge is a false ridge due to a noise component N or the true ridge of the focusing voltage En clearly. In such a way, it is possible to perform the focusing accurately without receiving the influence of the noise component N. |
