PURPOSE:To reduce friction between the main stream of blow-off air and surrounding air and elongate reach of the blow-off air, by a method wherein an inducing device, inducing the surrounding air by the blow-off air, is attached to the periphery of an air blow-off port so as to pinch the stream of the air. CONSTITUTION:Air sucked through a suction port 10 passes through heat exchangers 7a, 7b and is blown off from blow-off ports 11a, 11b while changing the direction thereof by louvers 12a, 12b and, then, generates the stream of air which catches surrounding air, at the tip end of a flange (14a-1) having an acute angle. The surrounding air near a ceiling, which is introduced from the opening 18 of a communicating hole (16a-1), flows through the opening 17 together with the blow-off air with the same speed into the same direction by inducing effect. On the other hand, air near the suction grille 10 is induced by the air flowing along the flange (14a-2), and passes through the communicating hole (16a-2), thereafter, flows together with the air, and is blown off through the opening 19 by the inducing effect, with the same speed into the same direction substantially. According to this method, friction between air may be reduced remarkably compared with the case where the blow-off air contacts rest air, whereby the arriving distance of the blow-off air may be elongated. |
