PURPOSE:To permit the cooling of a simple cold storage while effecting the air-conditioning of a kichen or a dining room, by a method wherein a main body is divided into an indoor machine side and an outdoor machine side and a cold storage, defined by an insulating partitioning plate, is provided at the side of the main body while a heat exchanger is provided in the indoor machine side and the heat exchanger as well as a compressor are provided in the outdoor machine side. CONSTITUTION:Upon cooling a room, a second solenoid valve 33 is closed, a first solenoid valve 26 is opened, refrigerant, condensed by an outdoor heat exchanger 9, is reduced by an electric expansion valve 23 and flows through an indoor heat exchanger 13 whereby a kitchen or the like is cooled. On the other hand, the reduced refrigerant, which flows into a branch pipe 25, flows into a capillary tube 27 in a cold storage through the valve 20 and the pressure thereof is reduced in the tube 27, then, cools the cold storage 19 by the latent heat of evaporation generated in an indoor evaporation device 28. Upon heating the room, the valve 26 is closed but the valve 33 is opened, the refrigerant, passed through the compressor 10 and a four-way valve 22, is condensed by the heat exchanger 13, warm-air is blown off through a blow-off port 14 to heat the room, and the cold storage 19 is cooled by an outdoor evaporating device 35. When air conditioning is not necessitated, the blow-off port 14 is closed, an underfloor blow-off port 14a is opened and only the cold storage is cooled and used. |
