PURPOSE:To improve the performance of an added processing unit without degrading the parallel processing capability between essential processing units by providing a save register and using the idle time of a write path to write data in the save register onto a register bank while starting data processing units by a following instruction. CONSTITUTION:A processing unit where the processing time of a buffer memory or the like is unfixed is built in a system consisting of n-number of processing units, which can be simultaneously operated and can predict the processing time, and the write path through which outputs from these processing units are written in the common register bank in time division, and a register 9 in which output data from said built-in processing unit is saved is provided. The idle time of the write path is used to write data in the register bank 7. Thus, the performance of the added processing unit is improved without degrading the parallel processing capability between essential processing units. |
