PURPOSE:To suppress the quantity of a program necessary to a word copy and to save a memory by preparing and storing plural pieces of word information as the document of the prescribed form, and storing plural pieces of stored word information into a word dictionary means. CONSTITUTION:The word information stored in a word dictionary means is prepared to a document form as the registered word list used with a word registering means by a document preparing means for registering a word, and this is stored into a document memory means. The document information is preserved into an external memory medium by an information preserving means. Thus, in another machine type, the document information is read from an external memory medium by a document memory means and the document information read by the document memory means is stored. By the word registering means, the word described in a registered word list prepared on the document information is registered into the word dictionary and thus, the copying of the word is executed. Before the word described in the word list on the document is registered into the word dictionary, the information of the word not to be copied is deleted by the document editing means and thus, a necessary word only can be copied.
