PURPOSE:To improve the using efficiency of a key telephone system and a telephone line by inputting data from an external part with the key telephone set, using the idle time of a system data communication among key telephone set main devices by means of the main device, summing them up, using the idle time of a telephone line and executing a data transmission to a distant place. CONSTITUTION:A data interface circuit 7-7 of a key telephone set 7 outputs input data to a summing-up data communicating circuit 7-6. In the main device 2, a control circuit 8 for summing-up data checks the idle condition of an extension interface circuit 4, in the case of the idle condition, controls a summing-up data communicating circuit 4-3, sends a summing-up data sending requesting signal to the key telephone set 7 and the communicating circuit 7-6 of the key telephone set 7 sends input data to the main device 2. The main device 2 accumulates once the data received through the communicating circuit 4-3 in the controlling circuit 8. When the necessary data are accumulated, a system control circuit 6 controls a switch matrix circuit 5 and forms a communicating path between a telephone line 1 in the idle condition and a trunk line data communicating circuit 9 and the control circuit 8 controls the communicating circuit 9 and outputs the accumulated data through the telephone line 1 to a communicating opponent.
