PURPOSE:To inspect and select a deformed product automatically and securely by falling and colliding a product to be inspected on a collision device and comparing and deciding its collision sound in terms of frequency. CONSTITUTION:This inspection device is equipped with a device 2 which falls and supplies the product 1 to be inspected, a device 3 where the falling product 1 collides, a microphone 4 which collects the collision sound, a trigger device 7 which operates when the microphone output is larger than a specific value, a frequency analyzing device 8, and a device 9 which selects a high sound pressure frequency component in a frequency component and compares the natural vibration frequency of a normal product with the frequency of the high sound pressure frequency component to decide a deformed product when the comparison result indicates a difference in frequency. Then the product 1 is fallen to collide and the shock sound is divided into frequency components constituting the shock sound, and thus the frequency component of high sound pressure is selected to find the natural vibration frequency of the product 1. This value is compared with that of the normal product to decide whether the product 1 is a normal product or the deformed product. |
