PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a software for serial data processing by supplying a key scan signal to a key matrix part in case of a trigger signal in the inverse state and stopping the output of the key scan signal in case of the trigger signal in the other states and decoding external data by a decod ing part. CONSTITUTION:When the trigger signal from an input terminal 15 is in the high level, a key scan signal supply means 12 stops the output of key scan signals KS1-KS4 by the control signal from a control signal generating means 16. Then, a selector 141 selects the data decoder side in a decoding part 14. Consequently, key operation is not accepted though it is performed in a key matrix part 11. At this time, external data given to external data input terminals 131-134 are decoded as four-bit data by a data decoder 143. This decoded output is processed by a data processing means 17 and a prescribed control signal is outputted from the data processing means 17.
