PURPOSE:To make a coil flattened one without contact points, by winding a coil around a spiral-wound coil bobbin extendable in bellows from outside to inside circumference and by contractingly overlapping the coil bobbins flattened out. CONSTITUTION:In a bobbin device 27 bobbins 28-33 are combined in spiral and in steps towards the centre. Each bobbin 28-33 is extensible in bellows. Now, from a bobbin 29 along a coil outer edge the coil side 34a is started to wind around. From outside to inside circumference coil sides 34b...34e are wound around bobbins 30...33 respectively. After the coil is wound up, the bobbins 33 and 32 are overlapped to the bobbin 31, so that the coil sides 34e-34c are on the same plane. In succession the bobbins 30-28 are overlapped and coils 34a-34e are all laid on the same plane. Thus, a pair of armature coils can be continuously manufactured seamlessly.
