PURPOSE:To improve the coil precision and reduce the fraction defective by applying the stress negating the coil deformation generated by the winding of a lead wire to a bobbin in advance and winding it. CONSTITUTION:The torsion by the winding of a lead wire is generated by the residual stress of the lead wire, and a bobbin 42 is twisted by the angle thetathat the residual stress of the lead wire and the structural stress of a bobbin are balanced. When the winding distribution of a coil, type of the lead wire, and conditions of a winding machine are constant, the residual stress is made almost constant. That is, the angle theta is almost constant. The twist angle is measured in advance, the deforming force is applied to the bobbin 1 in advance at the time of winding by a jig fixing the bobbin 1 so that the opposite twist angle theta is generated at the front end section 2 and the rear end section 3, and the winding is performed under this twisted condition. The residual stress of the lead wire and the stress of the bobbin are thereby offset, and the coil is manufactured under the normal condition.
