PURPOSE:To facilitate the sealing of a surface wave element to a resin case by providing a step around the base and fitting the frame of the cover whose inside is concaved and adhering them. CONSTITUTION:A flat part 31a is formed at the middle part of the base 30 and the step 31b to which the frame 11 of the cover 10 is fitted is formed to the circumference. The surface wave element 20 is placed to the flat part 31a and terminal electrodes of the element are connected to connection terminals 32, 34, 36, 38, then an adhesives is coated to the bottom face of the frame 11 of the cover 10 and fitted to the base 30 and adhered. Thus, the application of the adhesives to the end face of the cover 10 and the alignment between the base 30 and the cover 10 are simplified and the element 20 is easily sealed to the resin case.
